Spellings
Years 3, 4, 5 & 6 will have weekly spellings as part of their homework. A paper copy of these is sent home each half term and they can also be found on this website.
In addition to these spellings, which are based on the spelling patterns for year 5 and 6, (see overview) the children in year 5 and 6 will be expected to revise and to be able to spell all of the words from the year 3 and 4 lists and the year 5 and 6 list.
Year 3 and 4 children will revise the common exception words from key stage 1 and will be expected to be able to practise and spell all of the words from the year 3 and 4 lists.
