About Our School

A warm welcome to Great Budworth Church of England Primary School.

We are a small village school set in some of Cheshire's most beautiful countryside, with strong links to our Church and local communities. Our school was opened in 1857 and is found at the end of a short cobbled lane. The original mid-Victorian building has been extensively improved and extended to provide a 21st century education in a treasured, historic setting. Our latest addition, in September 2012, has been to extend our provision to include pre-school children and we now have a full-time Nursery Class catering for children from 3-5 years of age.

Great Budworth Church of England Primary School is a happy school and our children thrive academically, creatively, socially, physically and spiritually in this caring and friendly atmosphere.
