The childern have really enjoyed listening to the story and we wrote a description of Plop flying from his branch to speak with different people about the dark.

We gathered facts about Owls together and sorted them into different categories.

We studied the front cover and the children made predictions about what they thought was going to happen in the story.

We started to learn a little bit more about Timothy Limpet. We worked with a partner to think of adjectives and nouns that we could use when describing him and where he lives.

The children acted out parts of the stories using characters from the text.
