Author of the Term

Our author of the term is Eric Carle, we will be finding out about his life and reading lots of stories he has written.  We will look at the characters in the stories and discuss their feelings and any problems that happen and how these are resolved.

d illustrator of children's books. His picture book The very Hungry Caterpillar  first published in 1969, has been translated into more than 66 languages and sold more than 50 million copies. Carle's career as an illustrator and children's book author 

We read the story The Very Hungry Caterpillar and watched videos about how caterpillars change into butterflies.  We really enjoyed the Very Busy Spider story and playing with the big spider. After the story we googled how spiders spin their webs.
